About the Trainer
Douglas M. Semenick is an international management consultant, corporate trainer and workshop leader. Additionally, he has 10 years of experience as an Executive and Management Coach
He has designed, customized and presented over 1,500 training seminars, workshops, and retreats for a variety of businesses and industries, including several of the Fortune 500 companies.
Doug began his professional career as a high school biology teacher. He spent 13 years as a college instructor and coach at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) and the University of Louisville where he served both as a football and basketball coach. Doug was on the staff of the 1986 NCAA National Basketball Champions; and, was voted National Coach of the Year in 1988. Doug also managed the award-winning University of Louisville Health and Wellness Program for five years.
Doug is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and is the 2012-13 President of the Kentucky Speaker’s Association. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Project Management Institute (PMI) in which he is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is also a 1993 graduate of Leadership Louisville.
Doug has a wife and six children, is active in scouting and physical training.
Doug provides consulting and training in the areas of leadership, management development, and evaluation.

Licenses and Degrees
Doug earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Indianapolis and two masters degrees (M.S., M.Ed.) from the University of Louisville.
